We showed up around an hour early to register, get paint and gear up. As we walked in, our mission was to keep the city clear of any mercenaries. Roma and Dozer were then sent by Command to patrol our HQ located in the center of the city. The rest of us stayed in the South side of the city. Minimal contact was encountered. After sunset, we got word that the mercenaries were trying to approach the city from the SE near the center spawn area. Snake and Necro quickly moved in position to flank them, using the darkness as cover. The rest of us stayed back to hold our perimeter. They engaged and the mercenaries apparently decided to move in another direction.

After holding the city, our mission was to locate the mercenaries. We then took the road south of the city that leads to Whiskey. Condor and two other gentlemen walked to Whiskey to clear it if necessary. We get there and nothing. Empty as a ghost town. Suddenly, we spot lights approaching Whiskey from the north just parallel to the road we took earlier. We confirm with Command that does guys weren't friendly to move out and intercept or possibly flank. We head out and engage with them in the bushy tall grass. I get shot in the throat and called out. The rest stay back with Roma in command. After engaging each other, the mercenaries dissipated into the darkness.

After that, we were called to move our HQ that was located in the city to Killhouse. Condor and 3 other rebels secured the area and transported our HQ which included a table and a few chairs among other things. There was no opposition to Killhouse. So we secured a perimeter and headed back to the sniping tower where we were to hold and protect. Making the mercenaries think our HQ was still there. G.T. Condor was able to resist numerous attacks from all side, primarily from the east. Necro did an outstanding job concealing himself in the shadows waiting for the mercs to walk in. Unfortunately, the mercs found our HQ in the Killhouse and were off to complete the final mission.

Our last push involved making a push to Killhouse where the mercenaries had set base and were in the process of having their paperwork sign. We had to stop them. A force of about 10 rebels pushed to set a perimeter and keep them from getting out. 15 minutes passed before we went in to clear Killhouse. Unfortunately for us, the mercenaries had already left thru the back door.

Final Score:

The Mercenaries won the game. They had a great team.

Overall, this was a very fun game. It wasn't too crowded with players, the weather was superb and hardly anyone got shot in the back of the head by a teammate. In our book, this was an excellent game with really nice and talented players. The team out of Houston was really organized and proficient. We would gladly drive down there to play again. Also, on the raffle after the game, Dozer won an electric hopper for his marker. In the ending ceremony, Ghostwalkers got recognition for our work. We are very proud of this award:
